Thoughts that didn't make it up!

So it's been about two weeks ... here’s what’s happening @ JCX:

*Baptisms ... Seth is now a baptized follower of Jesus!
*Teaching ... What is truth? (Jesus Christ), What is spirituality? (being aware of the needs of those around you), What is community? (Laugh, cry, celebrate and carrying God’s vision together)
*New D-groups are connecting and growing together
*Some heavy duty stuff coming up that we must face and journey in.
*Prayer for transformation is being answered and it’s fun but hard as we go through it
*Leaders are always spectacular!
*Dave Whitlock gets hairier everyday!
*Our new leaders (Josh, Jake, Amanda, Ashley) are a blessing to us!
*Events, events, events! Like June 14th … a senior lunch, June 17th AIDS Care Kits, June 26th Hurricane Harbor and July 20th – 25th CIY: Move …
*Parents are fun and we love talking with them

*Our hope is that this summer we live in the love and grace of Jesus much more so that our lives will be a place where others are: loved deeply, encouraged to obedience, and transformed by the power of God
