JCX Tuesday 9/15/09

Highlights from Tuesday:

-Great turn out! Lots of familiar faces (which are always good to see) and new faces (sorry I have a tough time remembering names)
-Each D-group focused on where their group is at. Some great discussions took place.
-We spoke about the art of discussion in main group. Cole and I had a light saber duel on stage to open the message. I messed it up … Cole is a legit Jedi.
-The focus of the teaching was about what words we want on our lips and what words must be removed. We spoke about how we have moments, movements and mysteries in our discussions and how we must be aware of what our words can do when directed by the Holy Spirit.
-We sang worship through song … just Matt on a guitar last night ... it worked out very well. Of course, anytime we get to worship through song it works out!
-We received a video response from FBCY about the costume kickball game (Saturday, October 10th 4pm @ the high school) … and it fired up our group! Cole Adams is getting people together to make a video in response … I’m afraid!!

-To close the night I had the privilege of baptizing Josie Harris (graduate in 09) and wanted to get baptized on her birthday.

-Sunday we’re connecting with the Senior Saints again. We had some great discussions with them and I’m looking forward to doing it again! See ya Sunday @8:45am.
